I first met Ms Alberta while visiting my mother, Ms. Mary. Ms Alberta had more energy than a lot of people half her age. She lived on the same floor as my mother and would always asked how she was doing and that one day she was going to go holler at her. My mother was deeply saddened to hear Ms Alberta passed so was my sister Barbara. Ms Mary, Christine, and Barbara will miss her. She had been a beloved person in the building.

Ms Alberta was my Mommys best friend and the last of her gril friend pac. My last visit with her was on Mother's Day and I ask her what was the secret to living so long and she responded "girl I let other people have their own opion and I don't try to convince them to take mine. I get up every morning and get out and see what's going on " then she went into her pocket pulled out a cigarette and lit it up and said girl I don't have any other vises and chuckled. ". She lived life fully to the end. I know Mommy Jackie Tracy Uncle Norman and her Gril friends were all there to greet her with hugs and big smiles when she returned home Love Carolyn

I spent so much time at Granny's house that she thought I lived around the corner. I remember granny always going to bingo on Saturdays from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm on Saturday evenings at St. Joseph's. A kind soul that didn't know a stranger. She wasn't afraid of anyone or anything and could stop you dead in your tracks with one look. My prayers are with the family. Love You, Dee Dee
