Angela “Angie” Wilks was born on February 7, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of John L. and Dorothy L. Wilks. She departed this life on June 15, 2017.

She graduated from Guilford School. Angie lived a very simple life and often placed herself second to anyone else. She was unable to conceive children of her own, therefore, she loved, nutured and raised many children, who considered her to be ONE of their moms.

Angie enjoyed watching The Golden Girls. She was completely in her comfort zone, wearing her night gown, sipping Mountain Dew and smoking Newport cigarettes. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; one sister, Janet Wilks, and one brother, Eugene Wilks.

She leaves not to mourn, but to celebrate and cherish fond memories: Six siblings, Johnetta, Anthony, Kenneth, Kathy Ann (Lester), Tracy and Tonya; her aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
