So sad for your loss. You will be in my prayers. I was stationed at Darnell Army hosp at Ft Hood Tx in the 80s. This gentleman looks exactly like the Car Chavis I was friends with. He was an outstanding soldier and gentleman. He had the sweetest spirit and was loved by every.one I hadn't seen him since the 80s but this gentleman look like him to a tee. I can see his beautiful smille. I have been thinking of him and his name came up in an obituary. I feel sad for anyone who loses a loved one. I pray this is not my Carl. He was my good friend. He has helped many people at Darnell Army Hospital. Carl was such a loving unsefish human being. It saddens my heart to know if this is the Carl I knew has gone on to be with the Lord. But I have compassion for anyone's loss. RIPIH Carl. God has chosen a good guy. God bless your family. I can close my eyes and see that contagious smile who made my day while in the military

My name is Marsha Bolden. I am so sorry for you loss. Carl and I were stationed at Ft Hood Tx Darnell Army Hospital. In the 80s. We became good friends. Carl was an outstanding soldier and a gentleman. He had a heart of gold. He reached out to help others he went past his job in helping people. I would look forward to seeing his contagious smile. He was a breath of fresh air. Anyone who knew Carl loved him. It saddens my heart when I was looking him up to find out how he was doing to find out he has gone on to be with the Lord. He was a Godly man. A man or Morales and values . He was one in a million. He can't be duplicated. He had that sweet spirit. Kind demeanor. He was an outstanding soldier and gentleman. A man of God. Well to the family you are in my prayers. You will see My Carl again. God took the best RIPIH my dearly beloved friend.

Carl has been my friend for nearly 30 years. During our life and times at bnlab I could always count on his unwavering friendship. After his retirement, he still remembered us, brightening our day with that big grin. If you knew Carl, then you knew he adored Veronica, his children, and grandchildren, and was so proud of them. May God bless them with comfort and strength. Carl will be missed by so many. Godspeed dear friend. -Karen G
