On December 30, 1994, Cynthia Kennedy and Chamoda Palmore received a gift so great — only God could create — Chamoda D. Kennedy Palmore.
Chamoda was an amazing and gifted child. As early as the age of 3, Chamoda was assembling puzzles and performing complex math problems which included multiplication. As he continued to grow, Cynthia and Chamoda continued to water the seeds of his heart and mind with spiritual and intellectual teachings.
Chamoda’s football journey commenced at the age of 6. This is where he began to form relationships that would last his lifetime. This is also the beginning for jersey #11, which had much meaning to him and would be worn throughout his high school career.
In his spare time, Chamoda enjoyed the company of family and friends, playing video games, traveling and exotic cars. Chamoda was self motivating and driven to push his mental abilities beyond his physical.
During his high school years, Chamoda continued to dedi-cate his time to football. Chamoda was proud to be a Lakota East Thunderhawk under the direction of Coach Haynes.
Upon graduation, Chamoda had football and academic scho-larships and other offers in place. Chamoda had his heart set on playing Division I football, which led him to the University of Cincinnati to become part of the Bearcat football family. On September 25, 2014 at the age of 19, Chamoda answered the Lord’s call and departed this life. Chamoda’s sense of humor and love for the things he cherished and believed in will be missed by all.
Chamoda leaves to cherish his beautiful, unforgotten memo-ries: father, Chamoda Palmore; mother, Cynthia Kennedy-Edwards; stepmother, Josephine; stepfather, Anthony; sisters, Destiny Kennedy and Erin; niece, Brielle; grandparents, Bill Kennedy, George and Chermane Palmore; great-grandparents; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and his loving girlfriend he always called “Babe”, Martha “Lilith” Freese.
