Claudia transi- tioned to her Heavenly home on October 15, 2014, after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. She waits for her loving husband, Michael Files, Sr.; daughters, Mesha and Aisha; granddaughter, Tre’Shell; stepsons, Michael Jr., Clifton Lamont and Demetrius J. Files; stepdaughter, Alisa M. (Theophilus) Harris; brothers, James (Ellen) Hallman, Fredrick (Virginia) Hallman, Edward (Emma) Hallman, Gordon (Jennifer) Hallman and Michael Hall- man; sisters, Genevieve (Joan) Regulas, Jeanette Collins and Donna (Christopher) Redin to complete their transi- tion to Heaven.
Before Claudia moved to Ohio, she spent over 30 years in childcare at Shepard of the City and Parkview EduCare, and to this day, the children she cared for still refer to her as “Ms. Claudia”.
Lincoln Heights Missionary Church became her home church in 2000. She enjoyed all aspects of church life and was involved in several ministries of the church such as Greeter, Children’s Daycare and Circle of Malta. She made many friends, some have transitioned before her and they will meet again in Heaven to continue praising GOD’s Holy and Righteous Name.
