To the family of Pastor Darryl Woods: We the pastor and members of the Messenger of Deliverance Tabernacle of Columbus, Ohio say praise ye the Lord and holy greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For He alone is worthy of our praises!
We do extend our heartfelt and sincere condolences to you in the loss of your husband; father; son; brother; uncle cousin, and friend, Pastor Darryl Woods.
We bow to the sovereign will of Almighty God. We know that He is too wise to make a mistake. We thank God for a life well lived! We have known Pastor Darryl Woods and his family for more than twenty years; as we shared in fellowships between the 7th Avenue Baptist Church and the O.S.U. Community and Gospel Choirs, respectively, in the late 70's and early 80's.; and later in the 90's, our fellowship with Revelation Baptist Church and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, and the Charles Fold Singers, of which my wife [Pastor/ Dr. Shirl Bailey was a member. Know that we share in your loss and commit you and your trust to the divine providence of God alone who is able to sustain you at this time in your lives. We will continue to lift you up in prayer.

Rockdale Bapist Church, Women of Excellence purchased the Beautiful in Blue for the family of Rev. Darryl Woods.

Pastor Woods was engaged in transforming the West End community through prayer; and hosted prayer walks at Revelation Baptist Church in conjunction with my then radio station WCVG.. My prayers go out to his immediate family and church family on the loss of a man of God. His transition leaves a void in the community, but his legacy lives on.
