CW3 Kidd was someone whom I respected. I had the pleasure of first working with him on an AT in Grayling MI. He showed off his cooking skills by cooking for all the Soldiers (it was good). He also loved music and we exchanged hundreds of jazz tunes. He was; honest, genuine, respectful, and wise. There was always a smile and kind word from him. he will truly be missed and never forgotten.

Oh, Manny, what a loss. You got me through OCS with laughter, and you talked me up to Gina. Remember when Rickenbacher still had barracks? Grab a 6 pack and badmouth NCOs until those same sergeants told us to pipe down. Cannonballing between Columbus and Cincinnati so we could still spend Saturday night with our girls on a drill weekend. Taking you on a tour of Cincinnati when you were still new in town. Cyclones game at the Gardens. Dinner at Skyline.
I'm sorry it's been so long since we got together. I think of you often.

Manny, I hope you are in a better place without pain or worry. Your personality as well as your smile always lit up the room and the lives of 948B Basic and Advanced course. You were a professional second to none. You were always the optimistic one who never let things get you down. I appreciate the talks we'd have then and through out the years after school. We had some great times spent as a small family while we were in school. I'm sure John, Jeff, George, Manish and Pat feel the same as you were a great friend to us all. You will be missed and remembered.
