Sister Helen Warfield was born on March 7, 1912 to Nathaniel and Charity Warfield. She departed this life on July 28, 2015.
She joined First Antioch Baptist Church at an early age. She moved her membership to Bethlehem Baptist Church. She worked on the Usher Board and was a member of Brothers and Sisters of Love. She attended Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She always had a helping hand.
She worked at Cincinnati Public Schools, Children’s Hospital and the old Crest Hills Junior High School. She also worked in two daycare centers.
“Just to know my living was not in vain.”
She leaves to mourn: her last loving sister, Amy Jenkins (James); nephew, Jay Jenkins, Jr. (Kharla); grand nephews, Joshua Jenkins and Shawn O’Donnell; nieces, Alena and Gina O’Donnell; grand nieces, Keala O’Donnell, Tyrie Drummer and Patricia Ermino; and a host of extended family and friends.
