Julia (Anderson) Partlow was born March 30, 1924 to the late Jack and Sallie Mae Anderson in Tignall, Georgia. She departed this life on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the age of 93.
She received her formal education in Washington Georgia before moving to Orlando Florida.
On October 30, 1946, at the age of 22 she was united in holy matrimony to John A. Partlow. From this union was born a son, Wayne Partlow.
Julia was a devout Christian and faithful member of New Prospect Church for more than 60 years, where she lifted the Lord in song as a member several choirs. She also was on the mission board and apart of the Sunday school planning team.
She was a devoted wife and mother, who brought love and laughter to all she engaged with. Julia’s talents were many, she was an excellent cook, skilled vocalist, accomplished seamstress, collector of crafts and antiques, and an active community volunteer at The Lord’s Bounty, and Odyssey Hospice.
Julia was proceeded in death by her husband John Partlow; parents Jack and Sallie Mae Anderson; brother James Anderson and sister, Neziola Bullard.
She is survived by her son Wayne Partlow; grandchildren Lorenzo Williams, LaKeysha (Reco) Wills-Valines, Eboni Partlow, Anna Jackson, Imani Partlow; great grandchildren; Zhi’Ayer, Eleanore, Demarco, and Zayah; niece Cora Gresham-Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.
