Leon Wesley “Chipper” Frye was born on September 6, 1975 to Marty Lee (April) Kendall and Annie Pearl Frye. He departed this life suddenly on October 16, 2014. Against all odds, Chipper lived 39 wonderfully loved years.
Known as ―Chipper‖ for his joyful laugh, great big hugs (if you’re lucky) and smile that could light a room, loved to laugh, play in water and beat on his drum — a passion he shared with his father. He attended Jackson Adult Center, where he graduated and Franks Adult Center where he went to workshop for several years. Chipper was well known and loved by everyone who met him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Dorthy Kindell, Theodore Howard Frye and Dorothy Frye.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his foster family, Josilyn Dawson, Joy Dawson, Debrah Dawson and Angel Jones; siblings, Eric Moore, Angel Wallace, Marty Kindell, Jr., Indigo Kindell and Asha Kindell; and a host of nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
