William Chandler was born to the late Earline Oglevey on July 4, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this earth on Monday, November 17, 2014.
William had accepted Christ and was often seen in the Chapel at the nursing home. He was a caring father and a loving grandfather. He was an avid fan of different sports with football and baseball being his favorites.
William worked for Southern Ohio Fabricators in the steel industry, retiring in 1981, following an accident at work. He was known at the nursing home by residents and members of the staff for his outspoken opinions and personality.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Varnetta Chandler and his brother, Bobby Chandler.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, William Chandler, Jr., Latisha Chandler and Marcus Chandler; four grandchildren, Ciera Chandler, Armont-e Chand- ler, Xeniyah Chandler and William Saul Chandler III; one brother, Donald Chandler; and other relatives and friends.

I remember when PaPa was in the nursing home he would always ask me to bring him fried chicken (even though he wasn't allowed). I would always get it for him but he was a rebel and I loved it! He didn't care what anybody else had to say and was outspoken. PaPa lived a long life and he will be missed! LOVE YOU PAPA!!
