When I first moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, I went to Alexzene and Martha's apartment. She took me under her wing and taught me so many things about life. She looked out for me and protected me from the streets. She became a Mother to me yet always reporting to my Mom and Dad what was going on. She didn't fail to chastise me when I needed it and still loved me. I shall always remember our times together and her loving care for me. She was one of my big sisters and I respected her for that. I love you Alex. Rest in God's sweet peace. Your sister, Mary Grayer

My Name is Nancy Mohr. I worked the night shift with Alex in the Radiology Department at Good Samaritan Hospital in the late 70’s and early 80’s. We had a wonderful relationship as we were the only ones in the department. At the time the twins- a boy and girl were born and we had many conversations about them. I eventually left radiology and became an RN but I still stopped in the department from time to time to visit Alex who was now at the front desk on day shift. I am so very sorry to read of her passing and know for sure she has reached her final reward. Blessings to the family. Sincerely, Nancy
