I first met Jada at therapy. She was the first person I talked to and she made groups fun. She was so beautiful, funny (she’d always have us call her Jadadada, it had to be three da’s :joy: )and kind. We bonded over art and I remember she wanted to get into artworks. She worked so hard, drew every day to build her skill. I remember seeing her at orientation and at all the end of year events and she always had a huge bright smile despite what she was going through. I’m so sorry for your loss, a beautiful soul was taken way too soon.

I met Jada when I was the co-lead teaching artist for Artworks during Blink. Jada was such a fearless and heart filled artist. It was a privilege working with her and I think she taught me just as much as I taught her. She was such a fast learner and always tried to help teach her peers and she was always willing to try new things and push through challenges. The world is truly dimmer with out her bright light in it. I am so grateful I got to know her for a short time. She made me a better teacher. I attached four images of digital art collages she made when I worked with her in 2019. We projected those collages in the final performance.

I met Jada as part of the "HUGS" group trip to North Carolina for enrichment and growth. Jada was inquisitive about the surroundings and gracious for the hospitality and the southern food! With just a quick snapshot, I could see that Jada was bright and full of potential. My prayers are with the family.

Jada I will forever miss you. I was so honored to help with you when getting ready for Artworks tryouts. It made me so happy that I got to see you when switching classes or eating lunch or breakfast hanging out in the nurses office. My life is richier because of you and you blessed me with your insight and acceptance of everyone. I loved your sketches. Your talent always amazed me. I miss already Jada, and I will love you always. Love, Mrs. Adee (your school nurse)

Jada you will be truly missed! I don't think there is a person your infectiously sweet spirit did not touch. You came into our home and easily connected with everyone with your bubbliness. I will cherish the time we all spent with you, being able to have the Spa Hour with you and rest of the girls at the Lock-In, you always making sure my son was good for his birthdays, and loving my girls as sister/cousins! You are loved dearly in my household, my sister's household, and Josiah's grandparents. ...ps Nonnie wishes she got a chance to give you her famous GUMBO.

I loved her quirky interests, the way she carried herself, and her kind smile. Her hugs were the best, she'd just melt and ask you so genuinely about her day. She was a fighter and knew how much Jesus loved her. And she loved others through that. I can't wait to be with her in heaven!

I first met Jada and her sisters at daycare. She was SO sweet and always helpful. I started braiding their hair because they wanted beads. She was such a beautiful person at a young age. She has always been a free spirit inside and out. GOD truely gained a real angel. You will be missed Jada. Fly free beautiful fly free. Love Carolyn Davis-Reliford
Anna Grace Reynolds left a message on December 22, 2020:
Sweet Jada embodied all of the fruits of the spirit , but the ones that stuck out the most were gentleness and love . She was so kind , loving , gentle , empathetic . We held hands during the Awaited Christmas show, 3 Christmases ago , because the play was so moving ! I kept crying , she kept squeezing my hand. I will always remember her sweet face and bright smile and perfect cheekbones , she was elegant and poised and so very smart . God spent extra time making Jada . I am so heartbroken that she is gone , but overjoyed knowing she is in the loving presence of her Creator . She is in perfect paradise . I am praying for the Kirk family and sending much love .
