Alvin Jackson (Jack) was born on September 10, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Moses and Bertha Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, loving mother and brothers, Herbert, Richard and Arnold.
He attended Saylor Park Elementary School and Western Hills High School. Alvin accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age.
Jack worked for the City of Cincinnati in the Traffic and Road Operations Division. He was a dedicated employee for over 30 years. Post retirement in 2006, he worked as a security guard.
Alvin loved spending time with his family. His hobbies included watching football, playing cards and fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Barbara; daughter, Kiuia Jackson-Malek; son, Larry Harris; stepsons, Ronald Williams and Richard (LeShanda) Williams; brothers and sisters, Howard (Karen), Arthur (Henrietta), Kenneth (Linda) and Russell Jackson, Marguerite McClendon, Marcella Thompson, Deborah Starkey and Loretta Jackson; 10 grandchild- ren, five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
