To the family of Florida Crooks. May God hold each one of you in his hands during this time of sorrow and always. I miss Grandma already. I met her some 50 plus years ago, and from that time, she allowed me to call her Grandma. I count it all joy to call her that. God blessed her life with longevity and he blessed us to share life with her. She was the Matriarch of the family and truly loved. It's time to celebrate the life of our Queen.

While checking the obituaries for another person, I found Sister Florida Crooks. My name is Dee Kelley Green and a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Sister Crooks was a member of Calvary for many years and an usher. She made a beautiful Christmas wreath that hung on the door where she stood as an usher. When she left Calvary, many of us thought she moved south to live with relatives and never heard from her again. I did contact several members and yes, they remembered Sis. Crooks. We as members of Calvary offer our most sincere thoughts and prayers to the family and remember that she left a legacy at Calvary Baptist Church.
