Eula Beatrice Hampton of Cincinnati Ohio born August 10, 1918, passed away on July 8, 2019. As a rare Centenarian, she was born at the end of WWI and lived through WWII, the Great Depression, the Civil Rights Act, the Vietnam War, women’s rights, the first man on the moon, computers, the internet, cell phones, 9/11, America’s First Black President, and so much more.
Eula was preceded in death by father Theodore and mother Clara Roberson nee Coffee of Tuscumbia, Alabama; siblings Jewell Lee, Loreen, Willie Theo, Gertha Lee, Curtis, Terry and Kelles; son Benjamin Franklin Hampton and grandson Benjamin Franklin Shelton.
She leaves to mourn brother Darius “Wavely” DeGray (Jessie) and sister and Algie Weeden; daughter Idella “Della” Hampton; sons Henderson “Hamp” Hampton, Wilson Hampton (Rosa), Ellis Hampton (Shirley); grandchildren Lovey LaSaun Shelton, Henderson “Champ” Hampton, Lavon Hampton, John “Johnny” Montgomery, Beth Montgomery-Grant (Richard), Kim Crosby-Foster, Patty, James “Coleman” Hampton, Anthony “Tony” Hampton, Danielle Hampton, and Patronica Williams.
Also leaving behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren, as well as many dearly loved friends (especially from Community Church of Cincinnati and the Simons Bermuda families).
